Wikipedia is flawed, but its open source approach to information is a big reason it's such a popular frontline response.

I always got around the don’t use Wikipedia in your sources thing in uni, by looking up what was in the footnotes, acquiring these things from the library, and citing from those because a group of people narrowed down my book or journal search for me.

Main reason teachers suggest to not use wikipedia is bc they r trying to show u the importance of a conscious research.Many students show me their hw which is literally c/p from that page.Wikipedia itself it's not smth bad,but ppl trust the 1st thing they read, that's the problem

I still used and quoted frequently from Wikipedia on my papers but just used the sources from the Wikipedia pages after double checking they existed first.
9/10 those Wikipedia articles led my down rabbit holes that led to more sources for my papers.

The problem wasn't that they were saying it was untrustworthy, it's the fact they didn't explain how to use it. Wikipedia is a powerful tool, but it is easily manipulated. What isn't as easily manipulated though are the sources it cites, which are all at the bottom of each page.

Also if you know different languages, you've got the option to change the language and see the article in the chosen one. For some reason, German wikipedia tends to be a little better that the English one. My biggest problem w/ wikipedia are affirmations without sources

I went down a Family Ties rabbit hole last night and was horrified to learn that the Tina Yothers made-for-TV movie Laker Girls does not have a Wikipedia entry, and am thinking of resolving this issue personally.

@Dek00s @WandrMe In the article it says that they will actually use the regular 359, including regular Economy. But at least according to wikipedia, this route is only about 240 miles above the range of the 359. So probably not an issue with slightly reduced capacity
