Skyscanner is an online travel company based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Since November 2016 the website has been owned by Trip.com Group, the largest online travel agency in China. @Skyscanner @mkashkin @asolovyov Of course I do clear cookies, to be precise - I always book tickets from the Incognito mode. The problem is that your system sets language/etc not based on my account (I'm logged in) or locales of my browser, but solely based on my IP's country.

@Cromwellian77 @BritishAlba @LBC Freight is a different issue than p***enger travel. I went on skyscanner before and found direct flights from Sao Paulo to Heathrow. As to how we prevent interconnected transit, we bar p***engers who have been in Brazil for the past, say, 30 days, or quarantine them on arrival.

@Skyscanner A tiny amount are coming to you out of absolute desperation, but nobody has anything good to say about this operation anywhere ATM. I did have an issue with them, which only got resolved after 5 months by a card chargeback.

So basically - due to data privacy laws, Skyscanner say they can't even raise it with @VirginAustralia on my behalf which would probably resolve the issue. I wonder if its legal to use these loopholes to prevent people from accessing refunds?

@Skyscanner In the smaller towns in Vietnam they shut off the power to almost everything at night. I spent 30 mins walking up and down a street trying to find my hotel in Hue not expecting it to be completely pitch black. I must have walked past it 5 times
