@proudtenant @SP_EnergyPeople I already have. The @MoneySavingExp was to stay and it's proved expensive. Apparently it's more complex to immediately move. My view now is I'd move the day the company went bust in future. The complexity is not my problem, that's the problem of a broken market.

@scottishpower are useless and unorganised 6 months into buying our first house, threatened legal action for a bill on account they tell us doesn't excist when we try and call to sort it!! All our neighbours have had the same issue! Thanks for ruining what should be a exciting

Tried to submit my closing meter readings today ... and the website has twice failed to accept the readings after I followed the link! Useless! @SP_EnergyPeople "There was a problem

Because I cancelled direct debit, I now get a cheque, but at least I seem to finally be getting my money back. The time lost.....

@ScottishPower Tried to resolve an issue with my gas and electricity for the last six months with no resolution in sight. Countless attempts to call advisors, emails sent and complaints raised with no help whatsoever. Please get in touch before I go through the Energy Ombudsman.

@latimeralder @ScottishPower Like 10, 20, 30 years ago it was still "a problem" but governments and businesses didn't stand to gain so they suppressed it as an issue. Now they play it up as one.

@latimeralder @ScottishPower So I still drink from the climate change is a problem fountain but not quite as deeply as most. I am starting to get this feeling that it's only a bigger issue now more than ever because companies are now onboard to profit from changes made in the name of combating it.

@SP_EnergyPeople call back promise not returned after 45 min on hold and then systems going down. Rang again today and been hung up on 3 times.. after being put on hold again! No apologies given... how am I expected to pay a bill when I can't even contact the company. 🤦♀️

@ScottishPower were great until I had smart meters installed that clearly dont work correctly then my Nan died. So on the whole don’t have an issue, fit their dumb meters, die or need help unless u enjoy experiencing excruciating pain followed by a meltdown 😭

@richardtheap @BTOpenreach1 Scottish Power (electricity supplier). In October 2019 I reported our meter broken - it displayed no readings. When I moved home 15 months later, they were still asking me to provide meter readings.

@ElimuAnn @ScottishPower @ofgem Well I can tell you now I wouldn’t trust those figures. I had a faulty credit gas meter and it took them 2 months to fix. That’s 2 months with no gas. I took the day off work for the engineer, no show. But apparently he was never booked in. Although they told me 4 times he was.

@SP_EnergyPeople joined in august quoted £99 a month. 2 meter readings later and now charging £154. You laughed down the phone when I said at the beginning eon were charging £140. Unbelievable!

@BulbUK Hi, in 2020 I had to cancel a switch to Bulb due to an issue with my current provider ScottishPower. This is now sorted and tonight I used a referral link to switch to Bulb with £50 credit but told I'm not eligible as it thinks I was a prior customer. Please can you help?

Broken electricity meter means no hot water or heating as live in elec only area @ScottishPower say that i need to wait 10 days as @scotgov restrictions mean their engineers cant enter my home to repair/replace. Surely this is essential with a child at home as well @neilgraysnp
