@TravisO97244328 @SJonesNemesis @NFL_DovKleiman @PFN365 It’s not that easy. First off you don’t get that rookies make a lot less than 10 million a year. Second is I’m not sure Pollard will be the same player coming off a broken leg and surgery in his ankle. Pollard was a 4th rounder, you can find RBs anywhere

Collin Hulbert @CollinHulbert

@timlindzay @trolledbywho I’m normally against RBs early but Bijan is special and the chargers desperately need a 3 down back who can break tackles. This mock would honestly be best case scenario for a team void of speed at WR and no viable 1st and 2nd down RB. The TE talk in R1 is honestly insane

Marvin Elequin @FF_MarvinE
Reported 2023-02-07 15:28:02
@DavidZach16 Couldn’t agree more. I have about 8-9 RBs that grade higher than Cook as of right now, pushing him down to the mid-60th percentile range. Hearing that you’re coming to similar conclusions speaks volumes to depth of this RB cl***.
Can’t wait to see those final Z scores!

@adamteicher What are the odds we got with 4 TEs and 4 RBs and throw out numerous 13 personnel formations? Great way to attack that ****acious DLine for Philly is run it right down their throats.

@OneBillsLive Oline first fix, use your weapons Bills are too predictable, WR2, run RBs looking for mor Cook and Hines screens.

@erikbondsamson I understand the sentiment but “he’s never played a down in the nfl” especially for the RB is a notoriously weak argument.
Landing spot and O-line for his skillset are fairly irrelevant for overall fantasy production. Some of the best RBs have been elite with poor cir***stances

Holy Roller @HolyRoller59

@TheTrut47127874 @FieldYates Not really - you can look at position groups that have shorter NFL life expectancy than others....like RBs and TEs. Could Kelce be Brady? Sure! But wasn't he extremely questionable due to a back issue coming into last game?

@MarsMVE @MoeMoton Its not an issue about drafting X position, but the team really didnt need more RBs. Maybe you get those picks and turn them into OL or D a more pressing need, you could get Rbs in FA, and Im not giving them a p*** and saying its their 1st full draft, its the 2nd

Yeah and that produced an offense that was top 12 in yards per play.
We didn’t score more bc our defense was awful and 100+ on 3rd down.
Billy was also responsible for our best O linemen, great RBs and our best WR.
All of this despite AR going ~30% on p***es < 10 yards.

@DCsportsftw2 @DCSportsBuzzz The problem with Kuz... He never really improved. ~55 ts% rookie year, ~55% ts% this year, only difference +5% usg, just 7.6 rbs to 1st year 6.3, more ***ists 4 to 1.8 1st year but every year below 1.5 ast/tov ratio.
Deni is young and seemingly improves

@BabeLaufenberg We will see RBs break down even faster now than ever with the addition of the extra game. Zeke is going to have to the route of the Bus, become a goal line specialist and own inside the 10 yard line

Bills Metalhead @VanceMiller2

@taanubey @JoeyIckes Exactly fix the weaknesses. Once you fix the oline WRs and defense; then you can add a Rb.
And Steele is coming off a major injury. The same injury that prevented Gallup from being Gallup.
Smart teams don’t draft RBs if they have other holes

@AdamG620 @AboutToRatioU @MySportsUpdate Heaps has been his QB coach for YRS!!! It only became an issue b/c he was bad last year. But the entire offensive unit was bad. OL, WR drops, RBs on IR, Play calling. But DMAC wants Russ out so everything he asks or tweets is going to be a negative slant on Russ.

@dawest76 @blake_abraham Najee Harris was said to be an all around, 3 down RB. He lost snaps to the backup in year 2.
It’s too easy to find productive RBs late. Spending early is a waste.

@PlayballerDC Yes, use a 3rd-5th rd pick every other year basically, and add 2 UDFAs every yr. Let the league and the world know that your RB room is an open competition every year. And every 3-4 yrs you have a whole new batch of RBs .
You never wear one down, & you never pay one really any $

@DBro_FFB gotta keep 3… keeper league building towards dynasty roster. I think I’m for sure in on Olave. Hard to decide between Barkley, Etienne, and Drake London. Not being full dynasty yet makes me weary on London but locking down two young WRs sounds better than 2 25ish RBs https://t.co/lV4hxLAQHb

@kingxnvte He got arthritis in his knee he was gonna go down hill and basically 7/10 teams got what they needed from their RBs a nice 3-5 year stretch where they were a top 3 RB or helped them in the playoffs

@JohnOwning I’m gonna be honest I just don’t think they are the same type of player. For one, I think Bijan is simply a better prospect and a lot of RBs with this type of athletic profile have lasted way longer than zeke did. Zeke broke down extremely quickly imo.

Esp if Mixon is cap casualty, creating need for early-down RB w/oomph, App St's Camerun Peoples has my attention late or UDFA. Power back w/p***-pro chops due to size/strength & 33" arms. Reminds of smaller Latavius Murray, who was 1 of the best p***-pro RBs his first five years.

@StevieJPTX @JoeyIckes In today's NFL, Speed is far more important than size. The Frank Gore types are not as useful. It's the Aaron Jones, Pollard, McCaffrey types that work better.
None of the RBs playing in the SB are 230 Lb bricks. Additionally, they wear down faster. So don't use a 1st on him.

@JalenHurts_Burn @Varead2 @BrendenDeeg_ @scottler424 This makes KC’s offense a lot less exotic too, they love to get the RBs and Kelce in space and that slows them down

😒 @Shouright31
Reported 2023-02-06 11:28:00
@21SPaster21 @PFF_Fantasy Because almost all their current Rbs have no molecules.
Cook=3rd down specialist
JJ is a stud, arguably the best back in the league, lead the league in yards, and 1st downs.
So why would they add him to the studs they have at QB&WR?
*Biggest reasons
To beat Cincy & KC 🤷♂️

@CriddleBenjamin With the RBs and QBs on the team, ***uming he can catch, I'd love to see him as a hybrid/slot receiver. He is very quick and hard to take down in the open field.

Kenneth Gainwell needs 3 catches to hit his over.
He’s over 2 catches in just 15% of his games…
And the Eagles are now rotating 3 RBs on 3rd down.
Consider his under 2 receptions…

Ryan McDowell @RyanMc23
Reported 2023-02-06 09:26:47
@GeoffLambert77 The real issue is R3 & late R2 RBs over R1 WRs. Royce Freeman over DJM and Ridley.
Obviously, Barkley not in the discussion & we have to chase R1 RBs, even Penny/Sony.

@StevieJPTX @cdpiglet @davonsports @GuitaristJT @KrunkleKris @hoodyz_w @BryanBroaddus @timeforjeffrey It’s not Dallas, it’s the RBs. Imagine KC with Higgins instead of CEH right now. The Cowboys have too many needs at more valuable positions that actually impact the p***ing game on every down than to go RB that early. Find me 2 RBs on day 3 over an RB in the 1st.

BBALLBABE @BBALLBABE6

The Eagles defense flies under the radar, Hurts is awesome, RBs Sanders & Gainwell: a great 1-2 punch & WR Corp is top notch.
Mahomes and the Chiefs can handle anything, gonna come down to how disruptive DT Jones and DE Clark can be. Their pressure can decide it all.

@MikeSilver Nice column today. Only injury to QB I would blame Kyle would be Lance's. Niners have plenty of good RBs to run ball. There was P.F. uncalled on Johnson sack/concussion. Purdy's injury was a fluke. DE hits arm. Really? Jim G. had to ground ball/go down. @Eric_Branch

@VanCityKal @JL_Chapman The issue isn’t Kinlaw. The mistake was letting DJ Jones leave.
QBs keep getting hurt and RBs keep getting hit behind the line, lots of 2nd and long. The priority is the OLine.

@bealo_ This one's obvious tho 🤣 Henry is number 1, the number 2 spot has to go to Chubb tho but he's a close second, very close second. Both these rbs are so dominant for their teams that when the opposing team shuts them down or the offense stops running they end up losing 🤷

FadeyMcgrady @Therealbold3
Reported 2023-02-05 16:17:10
@Mannyaguilar_7 I personally just don’t see the point in paying RBs because there’s always some rookie that will produce and a good veteran 3rd down back that can net equal production for far less money.

@ReggieBush @espn He was hunting down RBs like you sideline to sideline! He wasn't really going after QBs. He'd probably be fined or kicked out the game today - because he brought the big hits.

Josh Boeke @JoshBoeke
Reported 2023-02-05 15:35:10
@izach120 Of course the 3-down RB barely exists any more, making it even harder to predict a RBs specific usage. I just don’t think you can really use RB TDs as a reliable metric for anything beyond simply identifying outlier performances.

@izach120 RBs are HIGHLY dependent on blocking, this is just a fact. You can take almost any RB and if you know the down, distance, field position, and number of defenders in the box you can predict their career YPA situationally with a high degree of accuracy.
