So I just waited in a 7000+ man queue, with multiple disconnects. To be booted at queue position 1 because of a new '4004' error. My friend and I waited for like the past 3-4 hours.... This speaks to a broader issue I have with the modern Final Fantasy series as a whole, which is that it seeks to reject it's JRPG roots and embrace a distinctly Western style. Modern FF's have a more realistic art style and try to do a "Last of Us" kind of cinematic experience.

Just finished #FinalFantasyXIV #Endwalker MSQ and what a ride. This was by far the best of all the content over the last 8 years. Hands down the best game I have played this year. Best ongoing game award? There are no other options. @thegameawards Just. Wow.
