are an absolute joke! 3 months of phone calls to them to get smart meter fixed as there is an issue due to EDF, its not working and every time we get told they will fix it and ring us back! Not once have they rung or replied, but just laugh at the issue! Disgusting!

@pmagn @edfenergy Nukes are the uneconomic solution that just won't go away. The US approach of having very few plants of the same design, makes the qualification costs astronomic. And no-one has a solution to the waste problem. The US has reactors full of spent fuel, just like the ones in Japan.

There's more rises in October but prices look to plateau beyond there, just now. Unless someone is offering a fix and fall contract I'd sit on variable tariff the now.

@edfenergy First I was told an engineer needs to come out to look at the connection as it is a gen 1 smart meter that EDF have turned on. Now the chat service say it's a known problem. It's a cheek for EDF to get it working to receive data without me being able to. I await to hear further.
