My boiler completely broke down last week & I've been told it will be at least two weeks before someone can come out to look at my boiler, in the meantime I'm not allowed to get it repaired or seen to by anyone else.

@edfenergy @ofgem Is it acceptable for edf to close down weekend customer service at 2pm on Sat when pre pay customers need support every day. Changed my meter, ****ed up my new card ref (4 times now), then shut up shop. It’s ok we’ll freeze until next week. Disgraceful.

Trying to get through to EDF energy when you have no electric on a Saturday night. Impossible!!!!!! Tried National Power and they have said it’s an EDF issue. Not a lot of help when no one there to help!!!!

@edfenergy @BritishGasHelp Yup. As the partner of a meter reader for MDS I'm well aware that they get a flimsy mask and a bottle of hand sanitizer. No access to handwashing facilities. Just this last week a team member came down with covid. You shouldn't be doing internal meter reading

Did you know that SMETS2 Smart Meters can be "too new"? Mine have gone dumb in a switch from @edfenergy to @OVOEnergy using the @MoneySavingExp Energy Club an no-one can fix them. Has @MartinSLewis even heard suppliers claiming SMETS2 are TOO NEW?!

@edfenergy smart meter has not been working for the last 3-4 months. First EDF tell me it’s a connectivity issue. Then it’s where the meter is placed. Then it’s my area and now I’m being told it requires a firmware upgrade. Absolute joke that I have to manually top up in thiscold

@edfenergy It’s not a power cut as the other flats in the building have electricity, it’s a fault with your smart meter (which still doesn’t connect to the IHD) you had to enable it your end, we’ve discussed this over the phone with your colleagues and rectified the issue!

@WMoaning @SmallBigWord @edfenergy In the original lockdown, that was allowed. Emergency callouts for meters. However, people that FIT them are not the one's who go out to fix them most of the time, that will be the emergency call out teams for boilers etc. They are not essential.

@edfenergy so after a 2-3 day calibration my smart meter became a dumb meter as it was only showing what gas my household was using. I explained that as a person living with MH disorders: OCD being one of them this is an issue for me. I accepted at the time you were overbooked

@edfenergy The so-called smart meter does not work; the main meter is giving nonsensical readings; the #EDF caller today could not help; the online chat (with a BOT) has stalled. Is there a capable human to deal with this problem? Time to swith provider, perhaps?
