Barely 2 months after I p***ed my test (50 years ago) I missed a gear-change & looked down, & mounted the footway
Fortunately my dad in p***enger seat nudged the steering

@SixthComma About as many as I've heard ranting about getting rushed down by red decks, or combo'd out, or turn 3 karn'd.
Complaining about whatever beat you is just a scrub personality/stage of learning the game. Why print Nine Lives or Teferi, Hero if prison/control rage is a concern?

@AfolSMR It’s just a table. You get to sit at it and take part.
Take a pause, slow down and re***ess. No hasty decisions. You are simply hitting the second stage of learning a new skill (out of four). This only means you’re improving!! Even though it currently sucks!! Learning sucks!!

@UrbanXpat Yeah, in the age of learning and playing, this things causes children to grow up soft-headed and want to live in fantasy. When they are hit with puberty their heats start breaking. I saw performance of kids in schools going down due to these things. Everything has its right time.

@zeneraalstuff Equating shringara to mere lust is unfortunate. From the perspective of student of cl***ical arts, shringara is taken at very late stage of learning, lot of work goes into understanding the nuances & the philosophy of it.
It's pulled down to another level of degeneracy.

my understanding was that, at that stage of learning(cl*** 5), the diagram is just meant to illustrate a concept, not necessarily depict the reality. And the concept here is, the relation between pressure and depth; unless i'm missing something

@TheVunderkind The pain of some failures (because we amplify them using our egos, can never be me things) is the reason we block them out, refuse to review them and ultimately lose the advantage of learning from them. Each failure becomes a bigger exercise in kicking yourself when you're down.

@luzdelsol7 @boople__snoot That's the angle I was thinking too. I don't have it in me to be a ***** all the time, I don't even have it in me to be one 20 percent of the time. I agree with the message of learning to put your foott down and not take ****, but I don't think antagonism is the way to do it.
